About Us
Tafnit Discount Asset Management was established in 1987. The company is engaged in the management of investment portfolios and is wholly owned by the Discount Bank Group.
Tafnit manages investment portfolios for a wide range of customers, including private customers: Israeli and foreign residents, private and public companies, non-profit organizations, government agencies and many other entities.
The assets of our customers in Israel and worldwide are managed through the company’s headquarters in Tel Aviv and its branches throughout the country.
The investment portfolios are managed by a large team of highly experienced investment managers with proven ability and track record in the capital market, and who are licensed as Portfolio Managers by the Israeli Securities Authority.
Starting on the day when the portfolio is created and throughout its management period, you have at your disposal our large customer relations team, which consists of licensed investment advisors and serves as a professional hub for any questions you may have regarding your investment portfolio.
Departments:
Investment Department
Our Investment Department is composed of a large professional team of analysts and investment managers with long-standing and extensive experience in the capital markets. The team is responsible for identifying and monitoring securities in the capital markets in Israel and worldwide, and for implementing the investment decisions made by the various professional forums: Investment Committee, Macro Forum, Equity Forum and the Global Debt Forum.
The department consists of several professional “Desks”:
Private Customers Desk – Portfolio Management for private individuals.
Corporate Customers Desk – The desk specializes in the management of large investment portfolios for private and public companies, non-profit organizations, government agencies and other non-private entities.
International Desk – The desk manages investment portfolios for customers who wish to invest primarily in global markets and in foreign currencies.
Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) Desk - a qualitative macro solution for customers with smaller investment portfolios
Customer Relations and Marketing Department

The department includes a great team of many customer relations managers and professional marketing managers who hold an investment adviser license and have comprehensive experience in the capital market.
Our customer relations managers and marketing managers are at your service from the moment you join Tafnit Discount and at any time. They update you regularly on the market status, composition and yield of your investment portfolio (in addition to the quarterly report you receive through the mail) and also strive to provide an adequate response to all your requirements.
Our Marketing Managers are available in the different regions in Israel, for your convenience.
Risk Management and Compliance Department
As a wholly owned subsidiary of the bank, Tafnit Discount considers compliance with the laws and regulations to be of the utmost importance. The department’s role is to assist the company in establishing adequate work processes and making sure that these processes are in line with the bank's and the company's management policy and risk control standards. .
The department examines on an ongoing basis the company’s procedures against its work processes, legal and other regulatory obligations, and supervises the activities of the other departments of the company.
